THE MEN`S CHOIR OF THE MOSCOW PATRIARCH. regent of the choir is celibate priest Ambrosius (Nosov) The men’s choir of the Moscow Patriarch, which was founded in 1987 with the blessing of Metropolitan Pitirim of Volokolamsk and Yuryev (1926–2003), is legendary as the oldest professional sacred music men’s choirs established in the history of new Russia.
